How to delete and re-install BuildCalc

How to delete BuildCalc from your Apple device:

  • Press and hold the BuildCalc icon until it jiggles and has a red circle with an “x” in the top left corner.
  • Tap on the red circle with the “x”.
  • Press the home button to return your iPod back to normal.

How to re-install BuildCalc to your Apple device:

  • Launch the “App Store” app
  • Go to the “Search” tab
  • Search for BuildCalc
  • Tap on the “Buy” button (it may say the price, instead) – don’t worry, Apple knows that you have already purchased BuildCalc and they won’t charge you.
  • Enter your iTunes password, if asked
  • You will get a message saying that you have already purchased BuildCalc and asking if you want to download for free.  Say “yes”.

Android Devices

How to clear BuildCalc’s data from your Android device:

Try this before deleting BuildCalc … it often works!

  • Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > BuildCalc
  • if the [Force Stop] button is enabled, tap on it to stop BuildCalc
  • tap on [Clear data]
  • A dialog will appear that says:

/ ! \  Delete

All of this application’s data

will be deleted permanently.

This includes all files, settings,

accounts, databases and so on.

[      OK      ]   [   Cancel  ]

  • Tap [OK]
  • Try relaunching BuildCalc again.
  • If this doesn’t work, uninstall BuildCalc and install again.

How to uninstall and re-install BuildCalc from Android devices:

  • Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > BuildCalc
  • tap on [Uninstall]
  • A window will appear that says:

Uninstall application?

This application will be uninstalled.

[      OK      ]   [   Cancel  ]

  • Tap [OK]
  • Try installing BuildCalc again via the Android Market App.  Google keeps track of your purchases so you will not be charged again.
  • Launch BuildCalcBeta.
